I learned development by fixing things I didn’t understand yet. At fourteen, that meant broken MTA roleplay servers, unfamiliar Lua, and a lot of reading other people’s code until the errors made sense.
I still work that way. At XOX I went from building the first games mostly on my own to coordinating a team and keeping several live games healthy. Some weeks that’s gameplay code, some weeks it’s UI or models, and some weeks it’s chasing down an exploit that showed up overnight.
Long term, I want to make original, story-driven games. The engine and hardware projects further down are how I keep learning outside of Roblox.
